Firm History

Samiotes Consultants, Inc., a visionary company founded in 1987 by Charles and Despina Samiotes, has evolved from a small family business specializing in civil engineering, to a multi-disciplined organization servicing a variety of market sectors in the construction and design industries. In 1994, in response to growing demands and space constraints, the company moved from their start-up office in Wayland to a  renovated mill space in Saxonville, a village of Framingham, Massachusetts. After 15 years in the mills, Samiotes Consultants, Inc. acquired their own 4,000 square foot office building in October 2008.  These offices remain in Saxonville, a vibrant, historical community, centrally located mid-state, affording us easy access to the Mass Pike, downtown Boston, and other points throughout New England. In 2000, our firm strengthened its leadership by appointing Stephen Garvin, PE as President of the firm. Stephen is responsible for marketing and the day-to-day operations of the company. Our next milestone was the addition of a full-service land surveying department in 2002, offering comprehensive site development services to our clients.  In 2008, our firm expanded its existing practice by providing professional planning and development services. Samiotes Consultants, Inc. looks forward to an exciting future as we continue to grow and evolve within an ever-changing industry.
